08:30 – 11:30 Leisure Time & Nourishing Breakfast
Swim in the sea and enjoy a wholesome breakfast: rest, journal, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings.

11:30 – 14:00 Workshop on Natural Detoxification Processes  
Each day you will learn something new from our experts. Explore how to improve your Lymphatic Circulation, Nervous System Regulation, Sleep Quality and Metabolic Balance. Experiment with Ayurvedic Eating and Intuitive Art.

14:00 – 15:00 Vegetarian Lunch & Free time
Enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch, then relax by the pool, take a walk on the beach, or enjoy quiet reflection.

The Teachers Supporting You On Your Lymphatic Cleanse & Yoga Retreat 

Andi Szentgyorgyi offers yoga classes, ayurvedic counselling and mindfulness workshops during our retreat in Nea Makri, Greece.

Andrea Szentgyorgyi (Andi) is a certified Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Wellness Therapist with a dedication to enhancing mental and physical health through holistic practices. At Hamsa Yoga and Meditation Studio, Andi offers classes in ayurvedic yoga, mindfulness, and various forms of meditation, focusing on mental wellbeing. With a specialized background in Ayurveda, she provides personalized consultations both in Drosia, North of Athens, and online, to support her clients in achieving optimal health.

Andi excels in stress reduction and is passionate about helping individuals create better lifestyles and fostering intuitive healing. As an expert in yoga therapy, mental health coaching, and Ayurvedic lifestyle guidance, she is committed to guiding people towards holistic health and well-being.

Andi says ‘As a dedicated and passionate yoga and Ayurveda therapist with a decade of experience, I organize retreats by the sea in a beautiful hotel to enhance mental health and overall wellbeing. I firmly believe in the power of these retreats to bring meaningful changes to people’s lives, fostering a sense of tranquility and balance.’

 

Dr Federica Boeklin leads workshop about holistic health and offers hands on treatments during our retreat.

Dr Federica Boecklin is a leading specialist in integrative and holistic medicine based in London, with over 30 years of clinical experience. She is highly regarded for her work in integrated cancer care, women’s health, pain and stress management, children’s and adolescent health, and healthy ageing. Her approach combines evidence‑based medicine with natural therapies, offering comprehensive care for both adults and children.

Federica earned her MD with honours from Sapienza University of Rome in 1995, followed by a specialist qualification in clinical hematology in 1999. She later joined Hammersmith Hospital at Imperial College London as a clinical assistant. Deepening her commitment to holistic healing, she became a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 2002 and completed a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture through the AcuMedic Foundation and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology.

Her extensive background in TCM, homeopathy, and integrative medicine enriches our retreat’s natural healing offerings, bringing participants expert guidance rooted in decades of experience.

To join us at the Hamsa Beach Retreat, book your flight to Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos). Upon arrival, a dedicated taxi driver from Marathon Beach Resort will take you to the coastal town of Nea Makri, just a 40-minute drive from the airport.

Nea Makri is a coastal town, 40 km outside Athens in East Attica, Greece.

THE LOCATION OF OUR RETREAT 

Our retreat will take place in Nea Makri (Greek: Νέα Μάκρη), in the wonderful Marathon Beach Resort. Our hotel boasts a lush, picturesque garden and a stunning swimming pool at its centre. Nea Makri features a long promenade lined with cafes, playgrounds and taverns by the sea. The renowned sandy coastline, Golden Coast, is a perfect walking destination, just a 5-minute stroll from our hotel. The path leading there is dotted with charming restaurants, and inviting spots to stop. 

The beach outside the hotel is quiet at down and is a perfect location for our morning rituals as the sun rises over the sea/

HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH HOTEL IN NEAM MAKRI

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
  • Nea Makri can be reached by public transportation from Athens.
  • First, take the metro to Chalandri till NOMIZMATOKOPIO station. Then, find the bus (KTEL) that goes directly to to Nea Makri.
  • Services depart hourly, and operate every day. Stops are as follows: Pikermi, Rafina, Mati, Agios Andreas, Zouberi, Nea Makri.  
  • Expect an hour ride to get to the town. For more information regarding your trip by clicking here. 
  • Alternatively, you can come by car, simply drive to the North of Athens following the road signs to Kifissia, Dionysus, and Nea Makri.
